 Methodology for a Synaesthetic Screen

An audiovisual work exploring the sensory indeterminacy of electrical signals. Two audio
signals from a synthesiser module are sent to the input pins of an LCD screen which
transforms audio frequencies into chromatic frequencies, producing apparently chaotic
patterns of coloured stripes.

A macro camera captures the raster grid grain structure of this image which is displayed
on a small CRT monitor. The electromagnetic emissions of both screens are amplified live.
allowing us to hear the image of the sound.
